It’s been ten years since my wife stumbled on a crime scene just beyond our backyard. I wrote about it for The Rumpus back then, but I thought I’d add it here as a free download. The man who murdered my neighbor has long since been convicted but every time I drive by where her body was found, I say a little prayer for peace.
