Sadly…not the whole book…though many of the stories in Other Resort Cities have ended up with audio editions in anthologies and the like…and a few made it into The Low Desert, too, but the title story has never had an audio edition. Until now! My profound thanks to my old friend Brenna Humphrys for this amazing performance of “Other Resort Cities,” exclusively available here for the first time. “Other Resort Cities” is one of four stories in a series about Tanya, a cocktail waitress whose adopted Russian daughter Natalya eventually disappears under mysterious conditions. She first appeared in “Palm Springs” and “Other Resort Cities” in Other Resort Cities and then later, in The Low Desert, the stories “Pilgrims” and “Ragtown,”  I wrote this story in 2008.
